DECEMBER 24

Funeral services were conducted at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 24, in the Capitol
Hill Methodist church in Oklahoma City for Malcolm A. Bowen, 46. Rev W.C.
Mathes, assisted by Rev. J.D. Oaks, officiated. Burial was in Arlington cemetery
in Oklahoma City, under the direction of the Crews Funeral Home of Apache.

Mr. Bowen, a former Apache resident, died at his home in Oklahoma City, Sunday,
Dec. 23, following a lengthy illness. He was born July 19, 1916 in Tribbey and
moved to Apache with his family as a young man . On June 28, 1936 he was married
to Zella Thompson in Apache. The couple later moved to Oklahoma City in 1945. He
was a member of the Capitol Hill Methodist church and was employed by a trucking
firm. He was also a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Don and a daughter, Mrs. Larry
Graham; and five grandchildren. Other survivors include three brothers, Lester,
Earl and Orlie; three sisters, Mrs. Gerald Good, Mrs. Paul McFadden and Mrs.
Dean Casebeer.
