Sevy, II and sister Judith and survived by sisters Edith Riley and Peggy Black. Born in Waco, TX, Jud grew up in St. Joseph, MO and graduated from Central High. He attended Westminster College where he was a Sigma Chi and graduated with a degree in History from Northwest Missouri State College in 1968. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. After returning he worked in insurance which took him to Houston where he met and fell in love with Elizabeth Gale. The two married in 1972 and later welcomed their two children. In 1998, Jud became a kidney donor for his wife. A longtime member of the Bellaire Optimist Club, Sunday School teacher, and Boy Scout Leader, Jud was devoted to his family and community. He was ever gentle, giving, considerate, and loving; leaving all who knew him with memories of a man with a quick smile and a true pride in those he loved.
