Services for Bob Burkhart, 56, Chadwick, were held Sept. 18 in the Chadwick Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Daniels and Ronnie Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Chadwick Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Burkhart was dead Sept. 15 on arrival at St. John’s Regional Health Center, Springfield. He was working on a car at his home when it fell from the supporting ramp. Mr. Burkhart, a lifetime community resident, he was a graduate of Chadwick High School. He was an employee of Builders Glass Company, Springfield and a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church Center, and a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Eula Mae; three sons, Randy, Bruce and Bobby, all of Chadwick; three daughters, Mrs. Kay Grider, Chadwick, Mrs. Carol Workman, Sparta and Shelly, of the home; his parents, Basil and Blanche Burkhart, Chadwick; two brothers, Bill, Rogersville, and Larry, Chadwick; a sister, Mrs. Delores Miller, Chadwick; and seven grandchildren.
