Ralph M. (Bud) Ahl Dies; Well-Known Car Salesman
Ralph M. (Bud) Ahl, 66, 1022 South Twenty-first St., died at Reid Memorial Hospital Monday following a lengthy illness.
A native of Richmond, he was a lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a retired employe of Vivian Buick where he had been a car salesman for many years.
He was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, a graduate of the old Morton high School, and a 1931 graduate of Purdue University.
Survivors include the widow, Evelyn; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Flatley of Indianapolis, Mrs. James Barrett of Upper Montclair, N.J., and Mrs. William Focht of Richmond; two grandchildren; two brothers, Dr. Benjamin Ahl of Carmel Valley, Calif., and Thomas Ahl of Centerville; two sisters, Mrs. Donald Carter of Richmond and Mrs. Howard Bliss of Bettendorf, Iowa.
Services for Mr. Ahl will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Doan and Mills Funeral Home. Rev. R. P. MacDonald of Reid Memorial United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the respiratory care unit at Reid Memorial Hospital.
There will be no public calling.
