Born to Andrew Walter and Ola May Shepherd Palmer in Des Moines, Iowa. Had two children, l daughter and 1 son. Had eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren. Died of breast cancer that infiltrated into the lungs. Married Woody Evans in Des Moines, Iowa which lasted until death. Never remarried. She moved the family out to Oregon while Woody was in the service, for work in the shipyards. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, hunting and gardening. She was 5' 4 and a very loving person. She loved to sing. She died at her home in North Portland with family in attendance.
