Gerald Dwayne Bryant, 40, of Route #1, Box 265A, Huntsville, Arkansas, died December 18, 1999 at Meadowview Lodge Nursing Home. He was born August 15, 1959 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Otto I. and Shirley J. Phillips Bryant. He was a drywall installer and a member of the Airport Free Will Baptist Church of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Bryant.

Survivors include: one son, Kenan Bryant of Skiatook, Oklahoma; his parents, Otto and Shirley Bryant of Witter; one brother, Marvin Bryant of Inola, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Janet Menard of Huntsville; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Bryant of Huntsville; his maternal grandfather, Carl Phillips of Witter; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Phillips of Witter.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Rev. Porter Bryant and Rev. Layton Porter officiating. Interment was in the Venus Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville. Pallbearers were Marvin Bryant, Larry Phillips, Jimmy Williams, Marion Smith, Larry Bryant and Richard McConnell. Honorary pallbearers were Dean Phillips and Chance Bryant.
