Mrs. Dorothy B. Saum, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel K. Hardy, was born near Bethlehem, Iowa, Sept. 21, 1899 and died March 2, 1932 at the Lutheran hospital, York, Nebr.
When a young girl she moved with her parents to Campbell, Nebr. In 1931 she was united in marriage to Martin E. Saum of Edgar, Nebr. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, one son eleven days old, eight sisters and four brothers, Mrs Belle Klophenstein, Kenesaw, Nebr; Will Hardy, Gage, Okla.; Mrs. Viola Boyd, Cambria, Iowa; J. E. Hardy, Tangier, Okla.; Mrs. Frances Hayden, Onesmouth, Calif.; Marion Hardy, Harry Hardy, Kearney, Nebr.; Mrs. Frank Gibert, Liberal, Kansas, Mrs. Earnest Bierhams, Gibbon, Nebr.; Mrs. J. C. Bauer, Kearney, Nebr.; Mrs. Eula Hardy, Willow Bank, Calif.; Mrs. Lillian Jones, Liberty, Nebr.
Mrs. Saum was a member of the Baptist Church of which she was a member at the time of her death,
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the home at 2:30, Rev T. S. Hughes having charge. Music was furnished by the Presbyterian male quartet Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery.
