Samuel Joseph Noble Rites Held Here
Funeral services for Samuel Joseph Noble, 85, of 2434 Benjamin street, who died yesterday after a months' illness, were held yesterday at 4 p.m. at the Sandy Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Sandy Creek cemetery.
Noble is survived by two sons, L. C. Noble of Baton Rouge, and Aubrey Noble of Deerford; two daughters, Mrs. A. R. Browning and Mrs. N. W. Nolan of Baton Rouge; 23 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
