Reads:

County of Shelby
I, Hiram McCauley, one of the heirs of James McCauley, deceased, of the County of Shelby and State aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of twenty-five dollars, to me in hand paid by LV McCauley, the receipt whereby is hereby acknowledged as pid by said LV McCauley have granted, sold and conveyed, and by the presents do grant unto the said LV McCauley of the county of Shelby and State of Texas, all that certain interest of one eight(1/8) in and to a certain tract of land in Shelby County Texas known as the Old homestead of James McCauley situated on the North side of Flatfork of Teneha being the undivided interest in said tract of land to which I am entitled as one of the surviving heirs of James McCauley and which has not yet been divided between said heirs-but when so divided, LV McCauley is entitled to my entire interest therein. Dated February 9, 1887. Recorded 18 June 1887.
