MRS. JOSEPHINE SIMPSON
Mrs. Josephine Simpson, 59, died in a local hospital Saturday morning following an extended illness. She was a life-long resident of Austin and a member of the Spicewood Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard W. Simpson and two sons, Lloyd and Roy Simpson all of Austin; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Parker of Mathis, and Mrs. C. H. Spencer of Austin; two brothers, A. W. Hutson of Austin and Benny A. Hutson of Pleasanton, and 18 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Benny Hudson officiating. The body will lie in state at the Wilke-Clay Funeral Home until 1:30 p.m. at which time it will be taken to the Roberts Cemetery for services and burial. Pallbearers will be Jackie Woodall, Junior Swearengen, L. J. Rice, Tony Sconcin, J. W. Hutson and Bud Brust.
