__The funeral of the late Mrs. Lydia Bear will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock with services at the United Brethren church. Mrs. Bear had been a member of that church from early youth and lived a consistent Christian life to her death. She was born in Wayne county, Ohio, May 27, 1839, and was united in marriage to John Bear March 22, 1866. She was the mother of two sons and one daughter. The daughter died in infancy. The sons are William T. S., of Cedar Rapids, and Rev. Sanuel L. E. of Lyle, Minn. Her husband also survives her. Besides these she leaves six brothers and one sister.
