Daniel Shelton died at his home a few miles east of Loami Friday, March 24, at 8 a.m. of consumption of the bowels, at the age of 65 years. He leaves a wife and several children, who are all grown. The funeral will be at the Baptist church in Chatham at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial in Chatham cemetery. IL State Register, Springfield, IL 3-25-1905
