She was born August 5, 1919 in Uno, Kentucky to the union Wesley and Bettie Mitchell Burd. Her parents preceded her in death, also her husband Charles C. Owens, 2 sisters, and a grandson.
She leaves to cherish her memory son Charles Steven (Maria) Owens, daughters Darlinda Levine, Peggy Skotko, sister Nelda Bledsoe, 10 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday August 29, 2008 at Angelus Chapel, 2535 Airport Road following with services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
