Edith Diane Brown, 52 years of age, of Brodhead, Kentucky. passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2004 at the Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center in Richmond, Kentucky.
She was born Feb. 22, 1952, in Berea, Kentucky, a daughter of Denver Lee and Samantha Jane Smith Brown. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was of the christian faith.
Those left to mourn her passing include her children- Raymond Mark Brown and wife Julie of Bluff City,Tennessee, and Ramealia Sue Brown of Brodhead, Kentucky, Grandchildren-Charles Raymond Brown, Jon Carl Jordan, and Tiffany Danielle Jordon, Brother- Jerry Lee Brown and wife Jewel of Ottawa, Kentucky, Sister- Brenda Sue Thomason and husband Bentley "Bro" of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Special friends-Dawn Brock, Debbie Adams.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-Arlis and Danny Brown and grandson-James Mitchell Brown.
Visitations were held on Tuesday, May 4, 2004 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, Kentucky.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Marvin Neal officiating; burial followed in the Ottawa Cemetery at Ottawa, Kentucky.
Casketbearers were; B.J. Thomason, Chris Powers, Terry Hoskins, Donnie Barnes, Roy Wright and Timmy Willliams.
