Merle E. Collins wife of Donald Collins of Pensacola, Fla. died Wednesday June 11, 1980 at West Florida Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Syracuse, N.Y. she was the daughter of Mrs. Mildred Ticknor Graves and the late Charles D. Graves.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mexico, N.Y. and a graduate of Mexico High School. She worked in the office of General Electric Electronics Park for several years before moving to Florida in 1971.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters Mrs. Roger Thomas (Suzanne) of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Donald Barter (Suzette)
of Fayetteville, N.Y., One brother DeMilt Graves of Mexico, a sister Mrs.Frederick W. Beesley of RD #2, Oswego, N.Y. seven grandchildren and three nephews and one niece.
Services will be held at Faith Chapel, Pensacola, Fla. Burial will be in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.
Contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Mexico, NY in her memory.
