Ruth Ann Templin, 81, of Greenfield died Friday at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born March 7, 1927, in Ross County to the late Ralph and Rena (Friece) Adams.
She worked for many years in food service at Good Hope Schools. Templin is a 1945 graduate of Frankfort High School.
She is survived by her husband John H. Templin, Sr; and children, John H. (Carol) Templin Jr., of Wilmington, Ralph "Woody" Templin, of Washington Court House, Douglas (Kathy) Templin, of Greenfield, Melissa Lower, of Greenfield, Dennis (Teri) Templin, of Greenfield, Robert (Rita) Templin, of Good Hope. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, 10 stepgrandchildren; one sister, Janey Cottrill, of New Holland and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Riley; a brother, Ralph Adams Jr. and mother-in-law, Nora Templin.
Services were entrusted to Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home of Greenfield, Ohio.
