Starkville - John Elwyn Christopher, 85, a retired construction worker, died of heart failure Saturday at Starkville Manor Nursing Home.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Adaton Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery. Visitation is 3-6 p.m. today at Welch Funeral Home.
Mr. Christopher, a native of Oktibbeha County, was a member of Adaton Baptist Church.
Survivors include: his wife, Juanita, sons, John Wesley Christopher of Jackson and Ronnie Christopher of Starkville, daughter Virginia Ann Peacock of Clarksdale; brother, Fred Christopher of Starkville; sisters, Arlene Hodges of Calhoun City and Frances Kendricks of Starkville and four grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Adaton Baptist Church.
