Elizabeth was the wife of Henry Newton (1818-1884). She was the mother of twelve children including: Rosanna, William Henry, Harvey, Theophilus, Theodore, Eugene Wilson, Mary E. and Eudora Newton. Elizabeth was the daughter of Ezra Peterson and Mary "Polly" (McFadden) Peterson.
