DREW -- Funeral services for CHARLIE R. JEFCOAT, 84, a retired farmer, will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday from Thweatt-King Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Cleveland Cemetery. He died on Monday at North Sunflower Hospital in Ruleville after a long illness.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Willie B. Marter Jefcoat; one son, Major Carl Jefcoat, U. S. Air Force; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Hood, Bowling Green, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. C. D. Cade, Noxapater; and, six grandchildren. ~~~ CLARION LEDGER, Jackson, MS, Apr. 20, 1971, page 9
