The last Will and Testament of Thomas Coleman
of the town of Haney, Crawford County and State of Wisconsin considering the uncertainty of this mortal life an being of sound mind and memory as make and publish this my last will and testament in mind and form following that is to say first I give and bequeath to my beloved wife her maintenance from the homestead farm during her life time. I give and bequeath to my two youngest sons John and Harason Coleman the equal and undivided parcel of the following described land viz :
The southeast qt of northwest qt, of northeast qt of southwest qt, of Northwest qt, of southeast quarter of Section No On in Township nine N or Range four W containing one hundred and twenty acres.
I also bequeath to my youngest children, three in number Emeline, Florence Elisa, and Sidney Madvina for their special benefit to educate and clothe and maintain them the following described piece of land viz the north half of South west quarter of Section no 6 in township No nine N of Range no three west containing twenty three acres and forty two hundredth.
I also bequeath to the rest of my children the sum of three dollars cash to be paid out of the incumb of the homestead farm and lastly as to all the rest of my personally estate goods chattels of what kind and nature soever I give and bequeath the same to my beloved wife Catherine Coleman whom I hereby appoint sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made .
In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal the 17th day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty one .
