Melvin Nile, age 67, born Sept 17, 1920 & passed away October 3, 1987. He was a resident of Okc & a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church. He retired from the Fleming Co. in 1980 after 32 years of service. Mr. Ake was preceded in death by his daughter, Carolyn Beth Ake in 1967 & 1 brother, Ralph. He is survived by his wife, Jewel; 3 sons & daughters-in-law Melvin & Delores Ake of Newcastle, Ronnie & Janie Ake of Okc, Fuzzy & Rowena Ake of Shawnee, OK; 8 grandchildren, Katrina Boggs, Christina Malcom, Melania St Onge, Ronnie Ake Jr. Kevin Ake, Chad Ake, all of Okc, LeRoy Ake & Robert Ake of Shawnee; 5 great grandchildren, Melvin Malcom, Caleb Malcom, Kory Malcom Melany Boggs & Jessica Boggs, all of Okc; 2 brothers & sisters-in-law, J oe & Lois Ake and Bob & Mary Ake, all of Okc; 2 sisters & brothers-in-law, Pauline & Al Willett and Mary & Harold Briley of Okc; several other brothers-in-law &

sisters-in-law, George & Kathy Humphreys, Emmit & Lillian Humphreys, Elmer & Wanda Humphreys, Granvill Humphreys, Gloria & Vacke Strickler, all of Okc; numerous nieces & nephews & many caring and loving relatives & friends. Also, their very special children, Francis & Chuck Winan of Grand Junction, CO, Wanda Cary of Okc, Donald & Ruth Ann Humphreys of Moore, OK. Services will be held at the Capitol Hill Funeral Home at 10 a.m. October 5, with pastor Shelby Greeson officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memory Gardens.
