Onstott was born Aug. 20, 1908 in Cushing to Sam Blackburn and Eva Bell Pierce Blackburn. She was reared and educated in the Cushing schools. She was united in marriage to Daniel Onstott on Oct. 12, 1926 in Cushing. To this union, one son, Don, was born. The couple had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary just prior to his death in November 1991.

She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church and over the years, was very active with the various activities of the church. She enjoyed going to the Senior Citizen Center and working with ceramics. She was a member of the Garden Club and enjoyed working with her flowers in her yard.

Onstott is preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Don Onstott and wife Ramona, Cushing; sister Ima Harley and husband Paul, Cushing; two grandchildren, Kurt Onstott and wife Karen, Cushing, Danea Courtright, Cushing; three grandsons, Josh Onstott, Kyle Courtright and Ryan Courtright; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
