Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Dannel Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Eva Lee Benedict, 85, who died Tuesday at her home, 713 W. Pecan.
Olden Cook of. the Travis St. Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
She has been a resident of this area 60 years, having moved here from Dorchester.
She attended Ellis County schools and was married to Frank Benedict, who died in 1960. She spent most of her life in this area, and was a member of the Travis St. Church of Christ.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Ethel Burleson of Sherman; brothers, George Dodd of Sherman, Joe Dodd of Fort Worth, and W.S. Dodd of Grandview; two daughters-in-law, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nephews will be pallbearers.
