To hold funeral Saturday for Ida Brown, 92

Funeral services for Ida May Brown, 92, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lawrence Methodist church. She died Monday night at her home at Elizabeth and James Sts. Friends may call at the Sisson Funeral home until noon Saturday.
Born in Hamilton township, she married William J. Brown March 6, 1886. They lived on a farm south of Lawrence, moving into the village in 1918. Her husband died in 1943.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Lawrence Methodist church and Women's Society of Christian Service, and a life member of the Lawrence chapter of Order of Eastern Star and the NRG club. Survivors are two sons, Max of Lawrence, and Gla of Kalamazoo, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The Rev. M. E. Bowen will officiate at the services and the Lawrence chapter will conduct Eastern Star rites. Pallbearers will be Arba Johnson, Wilburn Brown, and Blaine Hill, all of Lawrence; Clair Johnson, Gobles, Harry Martin, Paw Paw, and Wendall Dwight, Williamston, Mich., all nephews of Mrs. Brown.
At the services the Rev. and Mrs. Bowen will sing a duet, "Beyond the Sunset", Mrs. Basil Conklin will be organist. Burial will be in Hill cemetery.
