Foster L Hicks, 75 of 110 Woodlawn Place, who retired in 1964 after 34 years of service with the Crawfordsville Electric Light & Power Co. died Sunday in Culver Hospital. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Montgomery Lodge 50 F&AM past commander of Comandary 2 and Athens Chapter OES. Born March 19 1899, near North Salem, he was a son of Thomas Jefferson and Margeret Ellen ''Maggie'' SPENCER Hicks. He was married to Lula H Shrewsbury October 3 1923. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Shirley McQueen of Crawfordsville. A son [Faye Robert Hicks] and grandson [Dennis Warren McQueen] are deceased. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Leland Brett officiating. Burial in North Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 today. Masonic rites will be at 8 p.m.
