Daughters Julia Johanna Augusta (1895) and Augusta Antonia(1897) were born in Divide Township, Buffalo County.
After Caroline's death in about 1899, Fred married Clara Hamer on June 18, 1900. Their son Frederich was born 18 November 1901.
Fred bought John H. Stockham's farm in March of 1901, SW4 of Section 20, T10N, R16W.
