Dienna "Dicy" Cadle m. William Gunnoe 1/11/1836 Giles Co, VA. Their eldest son, Thomas - a Confederate soldier, returned home to Hinton, WV after the war. Because the area was "of the north", the family changed their last name to Ball around 1871.
Nathan Cadle married Sally Meadows 3/28/1821 Giles Co, VA.
