John T. Chapman, 64, a resident of the Hatch Road, south of Modesto for the past twenty-two years, died in a hospital here Tuesday morning. Chapman, a native of Mariposa County, was a farmer. Besides his widow, Mrs. Nora I. Chapman, he leaves two children, Leslie & Pearl Reynolds of Modesto. He was a brother of William W. Chapman & Nancy J. Preston of Oakvale, Mariposa County. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the Shannon Funeral Chapel with Rev. L. L. Loofbourow officiating. Interment will be in the Mariposa Cemetery.
