Lillie Cohen Anton, 87, of Abilene, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at her home. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Kornbleet Memorial Cemetery chapel in Fort Worth with Rabbi Alberto Zeilicovich officiating. Burial will be in Ahavath Shalom Cemetery, 411 North University Drive, directed by North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 Saturday at 1341 Canterbury Drive in Abilene.

Mrs. Anton was born and was raised in Abilene. She was a 1934 graduate of Abilene High School. She married Reuben Anton April 11, 1937 in Abilene. He died February 22, 2003. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at the West Texas Rehabilitation center and she was a member of the Abilene Country Club. She was a member of Temple Mizpah since 1942.

Survivors include one son, Bennett Anton and wife Shirley of Abilene; one sister, 'Min' Toby of Dallas; two sisters-in-law, Bette Cohen of Abilene and Faye Anton of Austin; two brothers-in-law, Harvey Anton and Charlie Anton and wife Shirley both of Fort Worth; two grandchildren, Lisa Miller and Vicki Dillard; three great- grandchildren; and caregivers, Erlinda, Sophia, Elena, Annie and Sylvia.
