Son of the late Johnny and Ida Lewis Wiggins and widower of Elsie Vivian Taylor (married August 26, 1945), he was a heavy equipment mechanic. He was survived by his son, Larry Gene Wiggins; two daughters, Cheryl Renee Wiggins and Karen Wiggins Stocks Rowe; one brother, Mayhue Wiggins; one sister, Lottie Bright; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaugher, Teresa Wiggins Dixon; two brothers, Toler Wiggins and Hubert Wiggins and one sister, Ada Buck. His funeral was held August 23, 2008, with The Rev. Henry Horne and The Rev. Tad Tankard officiating. Billy Edwards, Jimmy Rowe, Tommy Rowe, Ramey Potter and Charles Clark served as pallbearers.
