Henry spent his years as the Blacksmith for the Town of Amherst. There he taught not only his son Charles his craft, but also his son in-law Gilbert Southwick who went on to become the Blacksmith in the Town of Shutesbury.
Henry parents are Mr. Julia Kellogg and Mary Pool and he was born in Shelburne, Mass. He Married Susan Broad of Leverett. Together they had two children Olive and Charles.
Henry is now laid to rest with his wife in the East Leverett Cemetery.
