MRS. CHARLIE BRANNON IS BURIED IN MILANO

Mrs. Charlie BRANNON of MILANO died Sunday, October 8, 1944, at 2:30 a.m. in a Houston Hospital. Mrs. Brannon had been ill for several months. It was with regret and sadness that the people of MILANO learned of her passing.

Funeral arrangements were made by Phillip & Luckey of Rockdale. Services were conducted at the MILANO Baptist Church by Rev. C. W. Sanders of Cameron. Interment was made in the MILANO Cemetery.

Mrs. Brannon was a devout Christian and was held in high esteem and loved by all who knew her. Her survivors include her husband: Charlie BRANNON of MILANO, two daughters, Miss Mary BRANNON and Mrs. Sam Swartz of Houston; four sons, Weldon and Elmer BRANNON both of Houston, Ralph BRANNON of South Carolina, and Gene BRANNON who is in the service and is stationed at Corpus Christi. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. McMellon of Houston and five sisters.
