Nick Meyer, age 37, a resident of Little Falls, MN died January 31, 1997 at his home.
Funeral services were held February 4 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN with Father Ron Dockendorf officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Nick was born November 22, 1959 in Little Falls, to Fred and Margaret (Gasperlin) Meyer. He recieved his formal education in St. Joseph's Grade School and Pierz Healy High School. Nick was self employed doing painting, wood hauling, and was a good welder. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Fritz and Margaret Meyer of Pierz; a duaghter, Stacy Nelson of Little Falls; brothers, Jeff and wife Bonnie of Princeton, MN, Danny and wife Sandy of Foley, MN, Larry and wife Chris of Lakewood, CO; sisters, Joy Leidenfrost and husband Bill of Pierz, Lisa Blondell and husband Pat of Sartell, MN and 11 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Scott; and his grandparents.
Casketbearers were Tom Meyer, Greg Leidenfrost, Chuck Meyer, Mark Meyer, Michael Sauerer, and Danny Doucette.
