Paul Groff, 91 years of age and a pioneer resident of Grand Mound, died at his home at that place yesterday from the infirmities attending his advanced years. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon. Rev. R. J. Reid of this city will officate and the services will be in the Grand Mound Cemetery. Mr. Groff served throughout the Mexican war. He has lived at his present home for over 20 years.
