"Glenys was a post office in Laramie County from 1919 to 1937, with Emma C. Hixenbaugh as its first postmaster. According to the 1920 Decennial Census, Emma C. and William J Hixenbaugh had a daughter named Glenys G. Hixenbaugh. (WSL) A proposed name for the post office was Sunnyside. (Wyoming Post Offices) Glenys Post Office was established on March 7, 1919 with Emma C. Hixenbaugh as postmaster.
