Hold last rites for Mrs. Churchwell.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Mineral Springs Baptist Church for Mrs. W. M. Churchwell, 59, who died Monday at Forrest General Hospital after a long illness.
Rev. Alvin Dickson and Rev. T. L. Pierpoint officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Hulett funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Churchwell was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband, a daughter, Helen Churchwell; a son, L. V. Churchwell, Rt. 3, Hattiesburg;
two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Dauphine, New Orleans, Mrs. Eleanor Lee, Lumberton;
five brothers, J. M. Hatten, Sr., Pensacola, Fla.; E. L. Hatten, Wiggins; L. F. Hatten, Route 2, Purvis; A. V. Hatten and Bilbo Hatten, Hattiesburg; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
