He leaves a sorrowing wife, two sons, seven daughters and sixteen grandchildren, to mourn his departure. One daughter and two grandchildren preceded him to the spirit world. His seat was seldom vacant at services. The bereft family has the sympathy of the brotherhood.
Funeral services were held at the A. M. Church at Fairview by E. A. Bontrager and Menno Esch. Text, Ecc. 9:12. Burial took place in the Fairview Cemetery.
