DAYTON RESIDENT DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL
Mary Amanda Dey, age 78, who had been a resident of Dayton for the past 31 years, died October 18 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Dey was born September 14, 1863, in Caledonia, Ill. She is surived by five sons, Steve Dey, Brownsville, Lew Dey, Lorane, Harry Dey, Waldport, Ross Dey, Twin Rocks, and Leslie Dey, Marshfield; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence Warner, Dayton, and five sisters, all of whom live in Illinois.
The Rev. Kemston conducted services Wednesday afternoon at the McMinnville Funeral home and burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Dayton.
Mrs. Dey was a member of the Order of Easter Star and of the Methodist church.
