Donald R. DeMink, 88, of Center Line, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, in his home. He was born Feb. 13, , in St. Paul, Minn.
Mr. DeMink retired in 1977 as a lieutenant with the Center Line Police Department.
A World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was a member of VFW Cpl. Menge Post 6756 of Center Line.
He earned a bachelor's degree in law enforcement from Wayne State University.
Mr. DeMink is survived by his daughter, Kari Munsell; and grandchildren, Cainan Daniel Munsell, Brad DeMink Norman and Brett DeMink Norman.
He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia; and daughter, Deanne Norman.
No services will be held.
