He married Vonda J Cagel on July 18, 1947 in Jackson, Mo. Funeral services for Tinch Clarkson 84, of Mossy Rock, Wash., will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, at Whelchel Funeral Chapel, Branson, Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb 29, at the funeral home.
He died Feb. 24, 2000, in Mossy Rock, Washington where they had moved earlier to be near their daughter Eutha.
Mr. Clarkson was born in Marion Co. Arkansas, Tinch was a long time resident of Taney County. He had worked most of his life in Taney County as a carpenter and had retired after many years in the woodworking shop at Silver Dollar City west of Branson Mo. He was a member of Community Church of Powersite, Mo.
Surviving are his wife, Vonda, of the home in Mossy Rock; three daughters, Eutha Marbut of Mossy Rock, Lois Booser of Brookville, Pa. and LaDonna Taylor of Tampa, Fla.; one grandson Kenny Lowry of Ozark; five granddaughters, Joleen Strahan, Darlene Box and Beverly Lowry all of Kirbyville, Brenda Wagner of Pasadena, Texas and Winona Bogle of DuBois, Penn. and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 9 brothers and sisters and one grandson, Tommy Lowry.
