J.H. WOMACK DIES TUESDAY

Funeral services for James Hill Womack, 53, of Greensboro, a native Schley countian, were conducted from Ebenezer Baptist church Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Mr. Womack died Tuesday morning at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

The Rev. C.D. Carter officiated at the funeral and burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery.

The youngest son of the late Jimpsey S. Womack and Clara Snellings Womack, pioneer citizens of Schley county, he was reared in the Ebenezer community and moved to Memphis, Tenn., about 25 years ago where he married Miss Maggie Tomlin. In 1929 he returned to Schley County, and the following year moved to Greensboro, Ga.

Pallbearers were: J.L. Lightner, W.G. Womack, Charles Womack, Owen Womack, Bobby Tyson and Homer Jones.

Survivors are his widow and one daughter of Memphis, Tenn., two brothers, O.P. Womack of Webster County and Marvin Womack of Decatur and one sister, Mrs. Jim Tyson of Albany.
