Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Ira and Ellen (Neuman) Unangst.
He was a member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are two daughters, Louise, wife of Kenneth Moyer of Bethlehem Township, and Audrey, Wife of Richard Brueningsen of Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. Robert Zartler of Palmetto, Fla., and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden St., Bethlehem. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
