Mrs. S. E. Sanders passed away at the home of her son T.J. Sanders near Section, Alabama on Wednesday, March 3, 1926 and was laid to rest in the cemetery at that place and her funeral attended by a large number of friends who had known and loved her.
Mrs. Sanders was 85 years old and had been in failing health for several years. She lived a Christian life and was already to help the sick and do all she could for the distressed and her ministrations will be sadly missed.
She leaves, seven children and a host of grandchildren to who we extend our deepest sympathy.
Her children were W.H. Worthen of Alvoid, Texas, Mrs. Martha Keith of Winchester, Tennessee; Mrs. Minerva Posey, Maxwell, Tennessee, J.H. Worthen of Scottsboro; G.F. Sanders of Larkinsville, and T.J. Sanders of Section.
