Funeral services of Joe Hermanson who died at the local hospital on Wed Dec 11 , from complications were held on Sat. Dec 14. Rev. Borg Breen officiating. Mr. Hermanson was born at Madison, Wisconsin on Sept 22 1867. On Dec 15 1898 he was united in marriage to Emma Olson. This union was blessed with 12 children of whom six preceded him to death together with his wife in 1920. The six children who survive are Mrs. Christ Hanson, Mrs. Julius Norskog, Evelyn,Henry,Leonard, and Bernice at home. Besides these he also leaves his aged mother Mrs. Julia Hermanson, four sisters and two brothers, namely,Mrs. Joel Ellestad, Mrs. Gust Knutson, Mrs. John Fitting, Mrs. Lena Carnier, John and Herman. Three grandchildren are also left to mourn his loss. Mr. Hermanson will be missed by his friends and relatives as he had a wide circle of friends in this community. A sum of $17.74 was donated to the missions in his memory by his relatives and friends.
