GASSAWAY - Sharon Kay Rogers, 48, of Gassaway died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1997, at the home of her parents, Royal and Virginia Smallwood King of Birch River, after a long illness.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Also surviving: sons, Tony and Bradley of Wallingford, Ky.; daughters, Lorraine Paintiff and Lisa Rogers of Gassaway; sisters, Dottie Kidwell and Patsy Davis of Birch River; brother, Delmas King of Birch River; five grandchildren.
Service will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Richard M. Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway, with the Rev. Billy Griffin and the Rev. Lee Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Skidmore Cemetery, Sutton.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
