Mary. C. Zeigler, 97, of 252 N. Cherry, died at 3:05 a.m. today at Columbus Convalescent Center after a lengthy illness.
She was a retired seamstress and was the oldest member of New Hope Christian Church which she joined in 1901.
Funeral service will be conducted by the Rev. William F. McCoy at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel. Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Zeigler of 241 N. Cherry; a daughter, Dorothy Renner of 322 Jones; a brother, Ray Carter of Bondville, Ill., a granddaughter and six nieces and nephews.
