Ausguta was baptized and confirmed in the Luthern Church, Jamaica Brandenburg Germany. In 1873 the Hoehne's immigrated to Winona Co. MN; and in 1874 Augusta married Theodore Lebus in the Bethany Moravian Church, Winona. In 1882 Augusta and Theodore moved to the Canaan community in Cass Co. SD and in 1919 they retired and moved to San Diego, CA.
Augusta and Theodore had nine children: Agnes Marie (1875-1884), Adolph Gustave (1878-1943), Hedwin "Hattie" (1880-1902), Lydia Hilda (1882-1962), Agnes M (1885-1964), Alfred Theodore (1888-1961), Elsia A. (1892-1964), Hubert A. (1895-1964) and Hugo (no info).
