Frank Louis French. He was born 11 Jul 1908 in St. Paul and died 27 Apr 1963 in St. Paul. His father Louis French died at age of 40 and Frank was on his own at age of only 11. He went to work at Eisenmingers Meats on Wabasha Ave at the age of 12 and eventually became a butcher. He met his wife to be, Johanna Gross, at De's diner also located on Wabasha where she was working. They married 17 Nov 1934 in St. Paul. In 1942 during World War II Frank worked at the Arden Hills arms plant. After the war he worked at Kickernick's in Minneapolis. Frank and Johanna had 4 sons: Robert, Roger, Roy and Raymond.
