Funeral services for Mrs. Plezzie Eliza Shaw, 83, Madison Rt. 3, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Madison Baptist Church. McConnell Funeral Home directed burial in the Athens City Cemetery.
Mrs. Shaw died Sunday at her residence.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Black [Pauline], Tanner, Mrs. Robert Pickens [Mary], Madison, and Mrs. Billy Sandy [Martha Ann], Tanner; five sons, Wallace Shaw, Eutaw, Ashford Shaw, Athens, Walter Benjamin Shaw, Tanner, Billy Shaw, Demopolis, and B. Velpo Shaw, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
