THE COLGATE RECORD REGISTER, THURSDAY, 17 AUGUST 1944;
JOE ROBISON DIES AT LEHIGH AFTER LONG ILLNESS;
Joe Robison died at Lehigh on Monday, August 7, after an illness of several years. For the past five years he had been confined to his bed. Mr. Robison was born June 15, 1866, and was 78 years of age.
He had lived in Lehigh for about 50 years. He was a civil engineer and worked at the coal mines there for a number of years. He had never been married.
Surviving relatives include two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Timmons of Monroe City, Mo., and Mrs. Addie Loftin of Purcell. And two neices, Mrs. Paul Mullins, Oklahoma City, and Miss Mary Cross, Dallas, Tex. All were present for the funeral except Mrs. Margaret Timmons.
Funeral Services were conducted Tuesday, August 8, at the Presbyterian Church in Lehigh by Rev. F. L. Einsel of Coalgate, and burial made in Lehigh cemetery.
